Me too.... You must be knowing, he comes and plays these days - perhaps every year - for 3 - 4 years in row - at Isha ON Mahashivarathri. .. Well, around 10 years back, I read an article in AV by him in which he moved me...He says , the greatest percussionist is Lord Shiva and he many times gets a feelling of hearing the Udukkai of Lord Shiva....and all he tries to do is only a humble imitations and reflections of Lord himself..... There was a beautiful photo in that article where he is meditating under a big statue of Shiva....!! (I very vaguely remember)... I got connected to him since then...By the by, did he not resemble you Gowri....?? After couple of years, you too can have a white naphkin around your head to hide the inevitabe, right ?? suchoops:- Just to cut the long story short I am mentioning this in ps.....I am undergoing sort of peakest period of my visteon career now...after going through that spell of dissappointment. ...about which I mused about....!! I got plunged into what I am supposed to do...operation wise and also getting more and more moored to training initiatives (had pep talk with couple of junior guys - Trainers - and tested their intensity levels....trying to mentally form a full time Training Team.....!! Well, it is projected that from present 1300 strong company, FBSC is steadilly moving towards 6000 people strong in next 8 years...An official announcement has come about a new facility (400 seater, I think) at coimbatore for which willingness is sought for by a circular.... .Idea is to have a BCP site (hot site) which we never had until now....So the day of becoming oriented as a Training Manager is not too far off....and I dont really minding getting ready on fundamental steps to be done..... Coming back to visteon, did you see in shivamani's clipping, there were couple of helpful and reverntial hands supporting the plastic stool from moving away from Sivamani ?? The same thing is happening to me....This is perhaps the first time, I am sensing the morale levels and the admiration that they (35 memeber team) carry for me is complete and total....and not a single detractor / challenging attitude problem by any one....!! inspite of being casual with every one, slowly I am realising that I should start respecting their respect and nice feelings that they have for me......and getting into more and more selective talk mode....which helps me in to facilitate myself in my own time management.. ..!! If time comes, every thing - it looks like - will fall in place....!!
