Indians have come crashing down. Australians have shown their consistency in 50-50 format and are already one up in the 7 match series (one is already washed out due to rain). The Indian team will be thoroughly tested in the following 5 matches. We need to win atleast 2 matches to salvage some pride... especially after being crowned as World T-20 champs.
This fellow Shreeshanth's behaviour is really horrific, to say the least. Australian captain, Adam Gilchrist, in the post match interview said that "there were certain scenes which I wont even get to see my son do it in backyard cricket".... there cant be a more polished insult to Shreeshanth. His tongue wags more than his bowling and that is really a sad sign. Seeing a few acts of his, I myself felt ashamed by the behaviour of Shreeshanth, a person representing India, being watched by thousands of people and playing a sport at that - cant be any worse.
Nevertheless Dhoni is proving to be a good diplomat. He said that he initially thought Shreeshanth's behaviour was jus made for fun !!
