A Manaparai (name of a place in TN, India) doctor couple allowed their 15 year old son to perform a Caesarian surgery on a woman. They video taped the surgery and had shown it to other doctors stating that it would fetch their son a place in Guinness world records. All it fetched was a cancellation of medical license by the Govt. Its unfortunate that the Govt decided to cancel their license only for 2 years period !! Allowing an untrained person to perform a surgery is a crime. Above than that, they did not inform the patient on the "surgeon under training" !! (Let me also add - the surgery was completed successfully !!)
